ASK Mindset vs. ADD Mindset

ASK Mindset vs. ADD Mindset

I accidentally unlocked a new level of "at ease with asking for help" recently when I wrote a mission and vision statement for my business.

A value that stood out for me is being "of service." At my core I believe that - karmically and practically - I benefit when I am generous and contribute value to others.

If my intention is always to be "of service" and add value when and where I can, I can flip the script and focus on my ADD rather than my ASK.

Helping others makes us feel good, so being in an ADD mindset rather than an ASK mindset makes it more pleasurable - and therefore more likely - that we’ll initiate a conversation around asking for help or asking for a favor.
